STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 3) (Conditional Jockeys' Veterans' Chase Series Qualifier) An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the third last fence, when the winner Charlie Snow Angel (GB), ridden by Thomas Dowson interfered with My Manekineko (GB), placed second, ridden by Gavin Brouder.
Dowson was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had maneuvered right carrying My Manekineko (GB) off its intended line for several strides.
Following the race, Harry Reed reported that Casual Cavalier (IRE), placed fifth, made a mistake at the open ditch in the back straight on the final circuit.
