An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the final bend when Blowing Dixie (GB), placed third, ridden by Richard Kingscote, interfered with Jamaican Jill (GB), placed fourth, ridden by P J McDonald, who in turn interfered with Fleeting Visit (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Liam Keniry.
Kingscote was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed towards the rail without timely correction causing McDonald to take a check for several strides when tight for room against the rail and in turn causing Keniry to steady Fleeting Visit (GB) off heels.
