The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Daisy Dufresne, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. Derek Cullen, that Mr. M.C
O'Donovan, rider of Allbetsoff did not obey his instructions resulting in a false start of this race. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. Mr. Derek Cullen stated that he had no choice but to call a false start once Allbesoff broke into a canter ahead of the others. Mr. M.C. O'Donovan accepted he put his mount into a canter before being instructed to do so by the starter. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. M.C. O'Donovan was in breach of Rule 208 and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Daisy Dufresne trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't jump great and stopped quickly.
