1st - €8,637.50, 2nd - €2,125.00, 3rd - €1,000.00, 4th - €625.00 8 Ran Ebadiyan had shown some promise when fourth on his debut here last month and built on that to open his account.
Mick Kinane looked to be going nowhere on the Daylami colt as he was ridden along in fifth turning in.
He stayed on to third under a furlong-and-a-half out, however, and really started to pick up from the furlong pole to lead inside the final furlong and assert in the closing stages.
The winner is out of a daughter of Irish Oaks winner Ebadiyla. She stayed well and stamina looks his forte.
Pat Smullen soon had Suailce in front and she battled gamely when pressed by Beyond Compare from over two furlongs out.
She was a steady 5/4f in a lively betting heat. The daughter of Singspiel has now filled the runner-up spot on three occasions but should be capable of picking up a maiden at one of the smaller tracks.
Beyond Compare (9/2 to 7/2) attracted good support and ran well. He made Suailce work hard down the straight but couldn't find a way past before the pair were eventually trumped by the winner
He only had the one run last year and is open to more improvement.
Dalaval chased the leaders throughout but failed to quicken from a furlong-and-a-half out while La Petite Bleue was in the leading group before dropping away from two furlongs out.
