A smart winning debut by the Aga Khan's Zafayra, who pulled away nicely in the final furlong.
The Nayef filly raced upsides Ashka and started to edge away from that rival over a furlong out. She galloped on well to land the spoils.
The winner holds an entry for the Group 3 Athasi Stakes at the Curragh next month and looks the type to step up in grade now.
There was a three way go for the second spot close home with Shy Smile edging the verdict. She was ridden in third over a furlong out but stuck to her task well inside the final furlong.
She had also finished second on her debut here behind stable-mate Fictional Account and deserves to get her head in front soon.
Ashka had ruined her chance here a couple of times when left out of the stalls but was quick into stride today and soon led. She couldn't go with the winner over a furlong out but kept on and just lost out for placings in the closing stages.
Favourite Privet (5/2 to 2/1) attracted support but got going too late.
Mid-division she moved into fifth two furlongs out. She looked held at the furlong pole but started to motor late and just failed to get up for second.
She had run well in a couple of decent maiden last seasons and judged on this return effort should be winning before long.
Fantosha, ridden into fourth two furlongs out, could only keep on at the same pace from a furlong-and-a-half out while Catch Kally refused to leave the stalls when they popped open.
