Kingscote was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he switched his mount right-handed across the heels of Israr (GB), when insufficiently clear of Oviedo (IRE), which was hampered when moved off its intended line and in turn caused Hans Andersen (GB), to become unbalanced as a result.
Following the race, Saffie Osborne reported that Regal Reality (GB), placed third, was slowly away.
