Lapilli wins the opener for English and Whelan
I'm delighted with him. I was delighted that we got him back. James (McAuley) rang to say that he was bursting again so we got him back,. It's just confidence with him, he had lost his confidence but he's going the right way and I definitely think a step up in trip is the way forward now. If he stays seven he'd be some horse. I thought he might just lack a bit in a battle but he really, really tried.
Ex-Varian filly makes a winning start for Lyons
We're absolutely delighted with her, . She's a half-sister to Pallasator so that was all important, and we were being a bit cheeky trying to nick a bracket today for her breeding as we always thought she wanted a mile-and-four. I think she will want an extra couple of furlongs but Colin said it was very straight-forward. She's very genuine and wants good ground. She's a big filly so in mid-summer when she fills into her frame we could have a bit of fun with her. We'll see how far we can go with her.
McDonogh shines on King's Vow in two-mile feature
Moll makes breakthrough for Cahill
She's improved with every run,. We were going to wait for a seven-furlong race next week but we think she needs every bit of a mile and going forward we'll probably even step her up in trip. Conor felt that an extra two furlongs would help her. To get her maiden out of the way is great. I don't think there is too much here for her and we might give her a bit of a break and come back for the turf. We ran her first time out in Naas and she didn't appreciate the ground but it was very soft that day. I'd say she's maybe a good ground filly.
Bowerman shows liking for all-weather at Dundalk
He's a really nice horse,. We castrated him, he was really laid back but we just felt that he was getting on and we felt we needed to take them out. They were huge and I don't even know how he was able to gallop with them!. With the bits of work he'd been doing at home we knew he'd turned inside out. I didn't think he'd run to a mark of 101 tonight but out there it looked like he did. He's a better horse on the all-weather. There is a Listed race in the south of France in four or five weeks time and we might venture out there or look for something in England. He could be a horse for the finals day at Lingfield but the only thing is that he likes a big long straight. He's a big horse with a round action and this straight here suits him really well. He held the other horse well. The boys have been with me a long time. They've been very lucky and I only wish every other owner with me was as lucky as they are.
McGuinness doubles up with Eglish
She had a great run here the last day and had a lovely light weight tonight,. Alan did exactly as he was told and gave her great ride. I told him to sit in behind the leaders and he did that. She's inclined to be a bit keen sometimes but he settled her lovely and she picked up nicely. I have her in Wolverhampton on Wednesday and she could go there as I'm bringing a load of horses over there next week. If she's sound in the morning she could be on the bus.
Doyle guides Mulzamm to second win at Dundalk
McConnell continues his good start to 2020
He deserved it, he's a little horse carrying a lot of weight and is very genuine,. He wasn't a dear horse and we're delighted he's had his day. The people involved in him are very good people and we're delighted to get a winner for them.
