Having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
The stirrup leather of Morozov Cocktail (IRE) had snapped on the way to the start, the Stewards found it to be in a serviceable condition and, therefore took no further action.
The winner Bretney (IRE) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Hereford on 5 February 2023 when the gelding was pulled up.
The Stewards noted the explanation given by Henry Daly that Bretney (IRE) had benefitted from the application of blinkers and being ridden more positively on this occasion.
Daly added that the gelding had made a bad mistake at Hereford.
Bretney (IRE) was routine tested.
The performance of ÉCLAIR DE GUYE (FR), which was pulled up, was considered.
The Stewards noted that the representative of Lucy Wadham could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of ÉCLAIR DE GUYE (FR) found the gelding to be lame on its left-fore.
The performance of Don Herbager (FR), which was pulled up, was considered.
The Stewards noted that Venetia Williams could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.

An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the bend after passing the winning post on the first circuit involving No Cruise Yet (GB), placed second, ridden by Jonathan England; Morozov Cocktail (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by William Easterby and Loch Garman Aris (IRE), which was pulled up, ridden by Tabitha Worsley.
Worsley was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as that she allowed her mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear of Morozov Cocktail (IRE) taking that horse off its line onto No Cruise Yet (GB), who had to be checked as a result.
An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight involving No Cruise Yet (GB), placed second, ridden by Jonathan England; Event Of Sivola (FR), placed fifth, ridden by Jamie Hamilton and LOCHGARMAN ARIS (IRE), which was pulled up, ridden by Tabitha Worsley.
After interviewing all riders and viewing recordings of the incident, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame due to there being limited camera angles of the incident.

Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that The Questioner (IRE), placed third, had lost its right-fore shoe.
