Going - Heavy, Soft to Heavy in places. Overcast, threat of showers

Formscan By Alan Magee - A bitterly disappointing turnout for this Grade 2 event in which BRAZIL looks to have found a great opportunity. The brother to Irish Derby and St Leger winner Capri has taken really well to hurdles winning the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham last March and recorded a third win over flights when beating the odds-on Fil Dor in the Grade 3 Fishery Lane Hurdle at Naas last month. No Looking Back is a promising sort having won a bumper on debut at Thurles and made a successful start over hurdles when returning to that venue earlier this month. He came home strongly to win that two-mile maiden but the size of the task here can be gauged by the fact he would be receiving around 20lb if the pair met in a handicap.
