Formscan  - MATTICE was relatively prominent in the betting when returning to action in a competitive Doncaster event in March and although the six-year-old ultimately disappointed, he might be worth chancing. With just four starts on an artificial surface, including when narrowly denied at Newcastle from 1lb lower in December, the application of first-time blinkers could help eke out a bit more. Beelzebub wasn't able to justify favouritism at Leicester recently but further support would be noteworthy today. Hierarchy is also noted.
