Three-time winner Turbine ran a huge race to finish second at Galway recently and a reproduction of that performance would see him go close. Andy Slattery and John McConnell are both double-handed, with top-weight Zahee perhaps the pick of the quartet. He went down by just half-a-length on his most recent start at Down Royal and will be ridden here by Cillian McConnell who claims a valuable 7lb. Smaoineamh Sile has already won twice over the course and distance this summer but will need to bounce back from a disappointing effort last week if she is to feature. Bridgehead is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time and is another for the shortlist with Colin Keane booked to ride.
