Bukhill has been brilliant for me and I'm delighted to get the spin on him, he's a smashing horse. He travelled away there like a dream and jumped everywhere, just got a little bit lonely up the straight and then went on again when the other horse came to me. They didn't go a mad pace and he was able to travel in his comfort zone. He had a nice bit of speed to quicken on and away he went. He really tries hard and is very genuine. He is a grand horse, is very straightforward and I made too much use of him riding him myself in Sligo, when he also nearly tripped on a bend and it just didn't work out. I was saying to Kevin (O'Neill, cousin and assistant) that if he won one race a year, which he has done for the last three, that he'd be ok!
