She was unlucky the last day to run into Mousey Brown who was well in and won well again since. . The plan was she had a light weight and to make use of it. When she gets to the front and gets into a rhythm like that,she’s hard to peg back. She’s a good, tough, solid mare. . She lost her way a little bit over the winter. We were hopeful today. She has been a bit unlucky on her last couple of runs. She ran well at Tipperary but just took some kind of false step after the last. She done well to stay standing after that and lost all momentum. She is a real consistent filly and I think she is probably good enough to win on the Flat too. She is a grand fun mare for the summer and can mix it between both codes. She likes nicer ground. . She will probably go back to Tramore now. Her dam won twice in Wexford and won three overall. She also got Grade 3 black type. This is the first foal out of her and while she is not a big mare, she is a lot bigger than the dam who was tiny. She was ready to run in May and we let her out because the ground went too quick. She is actually not that long back in and I thought she might need the run, but because it's so close to home we said we'd come here and maybe in three weeks time go to Ballinrobe for the four-year-old fillies bumper. She is after winning now so we might go for the mares winners' race in Down Royal or go straight to the Listed bumper at Gowran. If the ground is okay she will probably go to Down Royal before Gowran. My father (Charlie) bought the granddam (Party Woman) as a foal and she won three times before she chipped a bone in her knee. He was very unlucky to get beat in Navan where it looked like he had it well won and made a mistake at the last. His jumping won the race in Killarney under a brilliant ride from Rachael Blackmore, and Darragh (O’Keeffe) was equally good on him this evening.
