FormscanBy Donal Murphy - BORN IN PURPLE gets the nod over Hypotenus. A French import, the Willie Mullins-trained selection was beaten into second on her first start for current connections at Tramore last month. She went down by just half-a-length on that occasion and is likely to come on plenty for the experience. A three-time winner on the level in France, Hypotenus appears the main danger. Second in a Grade 3 on his debut over flights, he has been ultimately disappointing since and it'll be interesting to see how he fares now, starting off for Gavin Cromwell. Hurdling debutants Dollar Nolimit and Western Fold both warrant respect. Previously trained by Stuart Crawford, the former was an eye-catching seventh of 22 in a bumper at the Punchestown festival in April and is now in the care of Joseph O'Brien.
