He was a good novice and we intended going chasing with him this year but he got a small setback. He might run back on the flat later in the summer. He likes a bit of a dig in the ground. It was another fine ride by Patrick. He’s riding well this week.

It was a good performance in very testing conditions, and we'll look for a novice race for him now,. He was in front long enough, and didn't do a lot in front. We changed tactics and he jumped better. I wouldn't say he's a bad jumper. We have only schooled him a few times but we held onto him too much on his first hurdle run.
