he’s a proper class horse and those other horses were never going to pass him. He has a bit of class and is a proper, proper racehorse and is as tough as teak. He was left off for the summer and he’s only getting going now and is a soft ground, 2m4f horse. He has won 12 races now and also won his point to point first-time out. He has been campaigned lightly this year, particularly because he is getting older, and will now go for a big handicap now. He could go on to Cheltenham (in November) for the Paddy Power Chase and is entitled to this at thhis stage.

He'll take some beating on Wednesday (Kerry National) if he gets in! He was first reserve and didn't get in last year but could get balloted out again this year but hopefully not. If he doesn't get in, he'll run in the Southampton Goodwill Chase later in the week and will then run in the Munster National at Limerick. He loves that heavy ground. He has E230,000 in prizemoney won now and is a great bit of stuff; he has run four times over fences here and has never been beaten.

I think he'd have been a real player in the Kerry National on Wednesday but unfortunately he missed the cut by one. It's a good consolation to get a win here and to win twice in the week is great,. He might go for the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham's Open meeting next if he gets into it. Draycott Place is a lovely horse but had been out of form all year. He had his palate done and it's only now he's blooming. He'll go to Sligo for a 0-130 chase next.

He has been running so well over hurdles - he won this race last year and I knew he was in better form coming here today,. He's in the Kerry National on Wednesday and if he gets in he'll run. He is number 10 on the ballot though but if he gets in, I'd fancy him again. He beat Rogue Angel in this last year and he went on to win the Irish National. He is a smashing horse and Danny was brilliant on him.

he's as tough as nails, has been a great servant and keeps pulling out. He doesn't do a tap at home so I have to keep running him to keep him fit. He's just a mark down from being a very good horse but had some extraordinary runs over hurdles and was second to a horse of Gordon Elliott's (Prince Of Scars) that went on to win a Grade 1. He’s a smashing horse and is probably better over hurdles than fences. He'll go for the same race that he won at Listowel last year and we'll freshen him up before that.

He'll go for the Guinness now at Punchestown (handicap chase on the Wednesday at the Festival) and as he's in the form of his life he could take some stopping. He doesn't do a stroke but he's so hardy.

He's as tough as nails and he started off by winning his point-to-point on his own. An injury is all that kept him back and after backing him at Tipperary I had a few quid on him this evening as well. I couldn't see Gordon Elliott's four-year-old, Mustadrik (11/10 favourite, 5th) beating him as this fella is a seasoned hardened horse.

he won his point-to-point by a distance first-time out and then finished second over hurdles but afterwards lost his way a bit. He had a hairline fracture to his shin and had a year off and it has now taken a few runs to be back to himself. He'll run in the Galway Blazers next if he gets in and my other horse Foildubh, which runs on the flat at Ballinrobe tomorrow and is in good form, will hopefully get into the Galway Plate.

I thought he was very good when he won his point-to-point at our home place in Templemore. But he didn't want to know when he went up to better class and he was lairy enough. The blinkers helped him to concentrate and the drop down in class was also a help. He'll be way better over fences.
