Thankfully, Michael (Bowe, owner) always promised me if he couldn't train him, he would send him back to me. He did a fantastic job with him at home, himself and Brian Hayes. Michael just decided to claim off him today, just in case, but we didn't need it. I'm delighted, he is a smashing horse. I said to Michael quietly in the stable beforehand 'hopefully we will be here for the Grand National this time next year'. Michael and John and all the family are here today, and I'm delighted for them. To have a decent horse on a big day, sure it is fantastic.

He's a very nice horse, he's only five. He schooled last week over fences in Limerick junction and we were going to go for a beginners chase but the ground was nicer here, he wants soft ground. Two-and-a-half miles and the track, all the conditions were right for him. We love him, he's a horse for the future. He's from Sweet Kiln and Limestone Lad's family. We had great luck with them around this track years ago so it's great to be back here. We haven't had a winner in Navan for many years. We'll see what the handicapper does now. Fences is definitely his future and he jumped particularly well last week schooling.

we jumped on the Harry Kelly bandwagon! . He’s a seriously good trainer. he got a good ride and it’s been a great week. I said to Carl going out ‘don’t let it turn into a sprint’ and as the old cliché goes he’ll make a great chaser. He gallops away on loose reins and it’s just pure stamina. To look at him he has the model of a chaser.
