After race at Navan Sun, 18th Feb, 2018 (1st)  I said during the week with the form he was in over fences and the weight he had that he was a certainty and he’s done it really well,. He pings hurdles and doesn’t jump them big like he does fences. There is a Grade B (Shamrock) Handicap Chase over 2m2f at Gowran in three weeks’ time and that’s where he’ll head for. James Grace

After race at Limerick Wed, 27th Dec, 2017 (1st)  The ground really suited him and he had a light weight on his back and Cathal gave him a super ride. He's getting better as he is getting older; every other year he'd go wrong and he's had an awful lot of problems but touch wood he seems to be tipping away recently. He's had no problems this year and every other year he had problems with his legs and back. He could go for the Dan Moore Chase in January next - it depends on what the handicapper does to him though. He'll probably run if he gets into the handicap. We could also give him a run in a hurdle race as he's rated much lower over hurdles.. That's my first Graded win as a trainer but I've had some good winners trained by Noel Meade. I've four horses in training and it's a hobby, but it's still nice to make a few quid out of it! James Grace

After race at Clonmel Thu, 16th Feb, 2017 (1st)  Davy did the trick. It was the first time those tactics were used today and they worked. 'It was Davy's first time riding him and we never went to the front before. In fairness to Mikey Fogarty (previous jockey) he was mad to go to the front with him but I stopped him as I thought the horse would stop in front. Davy is after riding three for us now and two have won so we can't complain! He'll go for something similar next as he loves that tacky, heavy ground. James Grace

After race at Fairyhouse Sun, 29th Nov, 2015 (1st)  He was due that because last year he was there or thereabouts in seven or eight races — he was in first three — so thanks be to God he got there today,. On Friday we did a bit of work with him and he was just a bit flat in himself but we said we'd take a chance when we got in and it all worked out. I thought it was maybe madness coming up on such a big day but thankfully it's worked out. Shane is a super jock and the horse never had as light a weight on his back. I'd say the horse thought he was running without anyone on his back. He's always carrying over eleven stone in chases. James Grace

After race at Cork Mon, 1st Apr, 2013 (1st)  I renewed my licence a year ago and this is my second winner since renewing it. I used to train years ago. I've four horses in Toomevara, Co Tipperary. There's an awful lot more pressure training than owning. De Benno is a problem horse, but he was right today and we fancied him. He's in at Navan on Saturday and hopefully he'll run there. James Grace
