She's an honest little filly and has improved all year. She leads Fiesolana and deserves that in her own right,. I was delighted with her third last week but when I looked back at the video and Leigh (Roche) dropped his whip I thought she could have been closer. I told Billy to ride her to get home. She doesn't bounce back out of her races too well so I told him to see how she was travelling.

She's a hardy little filly, very honest, and gives everything every time. Fair play to Leigh as he had his homework done. He said to me that Pat will go on and I'll just sit on his girth. A lot of the horses here have been winning from the front or near the pace and that's the place to be. I'm delighted for the owners Pat and Betty Cosgrove, who have been with me from the very start. They bred her as well so it's great.

She obviously likes it around here. When I saw the draw I was raging [drawn 13]. They went so hard in front it suited her and she got a nice confident ride. She has won five races for me, what more could you ask for?

I was delighted when the rain came. She won on similar ground at Galway (last July). It was no harm to see a few of them come out here either. I told Shane to keep over on the rail and not to give it up. All of the winners have been coming from the front so that was the tactic to use. It's nice to have a mare that really tries like that and she's by a very nice sire in Clodovil. We'll keep her to tight tracks now and hopefully she'll get draws that suit her,.

The draw is all important here,. I told him to jump and reel her back for cover to give her a chance and he did exactly that. Pat Cosgrove has been a great supporter of mine and I'm delighted for him as he bred her himself. He's only back from France an hour ago or he would have been here. That's my first winner here. I've not had many runners and haven't had much luck around here.

I'm delighted to get a winner for the owners, Pat and Betty Cosgrave. They bred the filly too and Pat is a member of the St Kevins GAA club in Staplestown and he is a great Kildare supporter . his son-in-law is a selector. The filly is tough and I'm some trainer to have been running her in Dundalk given that she's gone and won there on that ground!
