I was a little bit worried about the trip, I thought it might be a bit short for her. The handicapper has given her a chance, back down to her level. Every time I step her up in class she just gets found out. When she wins she wins impressively. You have to hold her up so when they go fast and she passes tired horses she just loves it. We'll try and find a similar type of race. This is a Newbridge College syndicate for past pupils. They've leased her for the season and it's their first winner. The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Iva Batt, ridden by D.P

McDonogh, unplaced, Wild Mountain, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed sixth, and Aurora Nova, ridden by C.T

Keane, placed second, where it appeared the three horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that just as he quickens up Mr. Sheridans mount just rolled around. J.M. Sheridan stated that his mount is an awkward ride and just rolled left when he struck him. D.P. McDonogh stated that he was pushed from his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

Sheridan, placed sixth, Theriverrunsdeep, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, Gegenpressing (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fourth, and Atbay, ridden by G.M. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M

Crosse stated that he had to take a check. W.J. Lee stated that he took back out of the gap. G.M. Ryan stated that he was carried a little bit right as he was going backwards. C.D. Hayes stated that it got very congested but no contact was made. J.M. Sheridan stated that he tried his best to keep his mount straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Wild Mountain, trained by Patrick J. McKenna, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Reinforce, trained by Miss Katy Brown, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Net A Porter Queen, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room a furlong out

M.W Hassett, rider of American In Paris, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls
