she was just wrong early in the year. She's a very good filly. She was fourth in a very hot Listed race at the Curragh last year and she's a black-type filly. We'll see what the handicapper does, weigh up our options, and see where we go. We've always liked her a lot and she's a very smart filly.
Andrew Slattery, trainer
The Stewards requested a report from Andrew Slattery, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Mid Winster (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer's representative, Brian Slattery, reported that this filly had shown good form at two having won a Curragh maiden and been fourth in a Listed race
Regarding her most recent run, he could offer no explanation for the performance other than that this filly had taken time to come to herself in the Spring but had returned to form today. Having considered the report the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
