The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Diamondinthemud, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards interviewed Miss E. Cummins, rider of Time Gents, concerning her use of the whip in the later stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In her evidence she admitted that she had exceeded the whip guidelines and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Miss E. Cummins was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with excessive frequency. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Miss E
