The wheels are definitely back on the bus. She ran first time out here this year and the ground came up soft but we thought we'd run her to take the freshness off but as we know in hindsight, it was totally the wrong thing to do. We brought her home and said we'd wait for high-summer when we're not guessing with the ground. It is a fair ask carrying 10st against older horses and was a Group performance. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Provocateuse, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Stewards requested a report from G.M.Lyons, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Frenetic, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Shane Lyons, Authorised Representative for the trainer stated that following showers the ground was yielding last time out at Cork on the 9th of June and the better ground today had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. S.T. McCullagh, rider of Strong Johnson trained by J.H. Scott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left

T.P. Madden, rider of Provocateuse trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards that at entry have run three or more times under any Rules of Racing, at least one of those runs having been on or after 1st June, 2020 (100 = 10st)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 8st 6lbs
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra for each race won.
