Dermot Weld's fine season is continuing apace and his Morselle was another of his Khalid Abdullah owned winners at Dundalk this evening, landing the Fundraising Made Easy At Dundalk Stadium Fillies Maiden, under stable jockey Pat Smullen. Tue 19th May
After race at Fairyhouse Thu, 28th May, 2015 (1st) 
she's tough and genuine. The drop back in trip was a little bit of a gamble but she showed plenty of pace in Dundalk. She really wants seven furlongs and that's why she won, because she outstayed the other filly. She's won two now and we'll see what the handicapper does. Long-term you'd love to get a little bit of black-type with her later in the year.

she was at the end of the line (wide draw) when she got to the line and he (Pat Smullen) had to use her up a little to get across. The plan is to probably go for a handicap next and I'd say that trip is about right.
