I was happy to see him drawn in five, and the race set up nicely with Maontri going off in front. He comes off the bridle plenty early but finds plenty,. He's been consistent all season when he has his ground. He minds himself when it's too fast and that's probably why he's kept sound for so long.

S.B. Kelly, rider of Fastidious (GB) trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in running. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Fastidious (GB), trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have burst a blood vessel.
