Formscan By Alan Magee - There was little to choose between Grand Jury and HOLLOW GAMES when placed behind Ginto in the Grade 1 Lawlor’s Of Naas Novice Hurdle and slight preference is given to the Gordon Elliott-trained gelding over this extra quarter mile. The selection won his maiden over a similar trip at Down Royal and stamina certainly seems his strong suit. Whatdeawant was well-fancied for that Naas event but finished about four lengths back in fifth. Eric Bloodaxe also has form tying in with Ginto that leaves him a bit to find. However, he’s a tough sort that will also enjoy a stamina test and stayed on strongly to convincingly beat Freedom To Dream in a 2m7f Grade 2 at the Limerick Christmas meeting.
