The Stewards interviewed S. Michael Millar, trainer, concerning his failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for American Image. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, who explained the circumstances surrounding his failure. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the late nomination of Mr. N. Gault. They did, however, find that the trainer was in breach of Rule 195 and having considered his record, fined him ?200.
