Prior to this race, the representative of Karl Burke was asked to explain the reason why they were running Hesssa (GB) here at Ripon on going described as Good, having made the filly a non-runner at Thirsk on 6 July 2020 on ground with the same official description.
The representative explained that having walked both tracks, in their opinion the ground at Ripon was slightly easier than Thirsk, and with the filly entered at the sales later in the week connections were happy for her to take her chance today.
Following the race, Jason Hart reported that Deal Dun (IRE), unplaced, hung left throughout.
