The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the first bend involving Mountain Fox, ridden by N.G
McCullagh, Yarraman, ridden by C.P. Hoban, Katie Beag, ridden by James J. Doyle, and Knuckles McGinty (GB), ridden by Vanessa Maye, where it appeared Katie Beag clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the field had bunched at the wrong time which had caused the incident and therefore took no further action
