The Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving Effernock Dieubon, ridden by A.W
Short, Capablanca, ridden by K.J. Manning and Getgo (GB), ridden by G.P. Brouder, where it appeared Effernock ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident accidental and therefore took no further action
