The Starter reported that Street Poet (IRE) broke out of the stalls and was withdrawn at 5:02pm.
Michael Herrington was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The winner, Araifjan (GB), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Pontefract on 14 August 2020, where the gelding finished seventh of eleven, beaten 7¼ lengths.
Richard Fahey’s representative explained that Araifjan (GB) appreciated the step up in trip to 7 furlongs from 6 furlongs.
The gelding was routine tested.
