An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Justified (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Franny Norton; Contrebasse (GB), placed second, ridden by David Allan and Stormin Norman (GB), placed third, ridden by Graham Lee.
The interference was found to be accidental as Justified (GB) edged right just before Contrebasse (GB) drifted left causing Lee, who was going for a tight but legitimate gap between the two runners, to take a check on Stormin Norman (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the line involving the winner, Stonific (IRE), ridden by Sean Kirrane and Justified (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Franny Norton.
Kirrane was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right without timely or sufficient correction, causing Justified (GB) to be checked for several strides.
