The winner, C’MON KENNY, appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Nottingham on 26 September 2023 where the gelding finished twelfth of fourteen runners beaten 17 ½ lengths.
The explanation given by Ian Williams that the gelding had appreciated a return to the all-weather surface was noted.
