Hoban reduced to 7lb after Hujaylea success
I'm delighted for him, he's a very good rider and that'll be a boost for him to lose his 10lb,. The other two (Gary Carroll and Shane Foley) were going so well this season it was hard to get him going but he should do well next year. I'll be promoting him next year. The other lads are claiming 3lb now so his 7lb claim will be useful.
Kenmare gives Halford apprentice double
I was delighted to get the divide as the two horses love it around here,. I thought Hujaylea was a bit more exposed so I decided to claim off him with Conor. This fellow loves to be ridden that way - passing horses. Shane said he just clipped heels early and he had to take a hold of him. He just loves fast ground. He's in the habit of winning now, he's well-bred and could progress.

Opera proves tough
He's a nice horse. We gave him a run at Wolverhampton and he came on well from that,. There is an £18,000 handicap at Wolverhampton in two weeks time and he'll go for that. He won't go on real winter ground over hurdles so we'll give him a couple more runs on the Flat and then give him a break.
Lee shines on Funtasia
He's a very difficult ride and Billy was very good on him,. He's very tricky and pulls like a train. He has a nose net on him to try and settle him but Billy said he has never rode anything around here that's as keen. We stretched him in trip as he does stay. Last time he just got no cover. He has oodles of ability. Hopefully we'll go to Dubai with him and I don't mind if he goes up a couple of pounds as he'd get in then. There are plenty of races for him there and he'll love the surface. I could send him there with Fourpenny Lane and Raise Your Heart. I'm delighted for the owners, who are local.
Vivienne leaves it late in last
She was always getting there. That was her first run here. I only live 25 minutes from here but I haven't even worked her here or anything,. Because of the wet summer that's the first run she's had on goodish ground. She schools well over hurdles and I'll talk to the owner about going for a three-year-old hurdle or keeping her for next year. She's a lovely filly.
