Permission was given for Dono di Dio (GB) to be led to post early and for Petrastar (GB) to be mounted on the course.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when Petrastar (GB), placed fourth, ridden by David Probert, interfered with Machine Learner (GB), placed third, ridden by Sean Levey.
Probert was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left-handed without timely correction, causing interference to Machine Learner (GB).
Following the race, Hector Crouch reported that Guns of Leros (USA), placed sixth, was slowly away.
David Probert reported that Petrastar (GB), placed fourth, ran too freely in the early stages and hung left and right-handed in the home straight; the gelding was routine tested.
George Wood reported that Dono di Dio (GB), placed eighth, was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
