The winner, Another Stowaway (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Newbury on 26 March 2021 where the gelding finished fourth of eight, beaten by 37½ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Tom George could offer no explanation for Another Stowaway (IRE)’s improvement in form other than in her opinion, the gelding may have benefited from the re-application of cheekpieces on this occasion.
Another Stowaway (IRE) was routine tested.
