Home By The Lee wins 3rd race from 4 starts
He's done nothing wrong all the way along. He ran a lovely race the last day in Naas and came forward from that,. JJ said that he jumped the third last very well and ended up getting to the front a bit sooner than he wanted. He was waiting a little bit then but at the back of the last when he got hold of him he galloped out to the line well. He's a very nice horse. He could maybe go into a confined novice now or a graded race. We'll see but we'll take it baby steps with him as he's probably a staying horse for the future. He's only just turned five so he's a young horse still.
Progressive Drury strikes again
McManus quickly back with a winner after Champ's fall
That was nice. It wasn't much of a race to be fair and there wasn't anything standing out in the betting,. Except for one horse there wasn't much between them in the market and that's a sign of what it was. The penny is dropping with her and she won well but as I say it wasn't much of a race and we won't be making any great plans. She's an average mare but was a bit better than the rest. We'll take it, it was worth a few quid for what it was. It's a good start to the year and a good start to the decade!
Danny Mullins doubles up at Fairyhouse
She kept going, enjoyed the ground, got a handy enough lead and kept picking up. She stays well, is tough and genuine, so that's half the battle. We'll see how she is now, freshen her up, and go again. She's consistent and tough so we'll keep trying with her. She had been running on real winter ground up to this but I'd say she appreciated that easier ground. She's not a big filly, she's small and compact but she'd hardy.
Castlebawn collects on second chase start
McNamara loses 7Ib claim with another win for Cromwell
It was a brilliant round of jumping again and that's what won it for her,. She loves it out there in front. That's Conor last win as a 7lb claimer. She stays well and it all depends what the handicapper does. It'll be something similar again, it's not as if she's a real progressive type. That's the key to her, riding her like that as she jumps so well.
Daniel Hyde rides 1st winner on very promising Keskonrisk
I think he's a good horse this fella, he has a lot of speed and he's very well bred too,. That's Daniel's first winner and he's in fifth year at school. Most of my horses I sell them, so we'll see now. I think he's pretty good. He's well schooled and jumped like a buck around here one day over hurdles. He's a good looking individual and a grand easy mover.
