An enquiry was held to consider interference, 1½ furlongs out, involving the winner, Buccabay (IRE), ridden by Charles Bishop and My Delilah (IRE), placed third, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
Bishop was cautioned for careless riding as Bishop angled his mount right-handed into a gap, that hadn’t opened as he anticipated, at the same time as Straits Of Moyle (IRE) stopped quickly, resulting in Loughnane being shifted slightly off his intended line.
Following the race, John Fahy reported that Heroism (IRE), placed fourth, was fractious in the stalls and slowly away as a result.
