Permission was given for Glory of Paris (IRE) and Ocean Paradise (GB) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside the final furlong when the winner, Fields Of Dreams (GB), ridden by Jason Watson, interfered with Pastime (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Jack Mitchell, which in turn interfered with Glory of Paris (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Luke Morris, which in turn interfered with Easy Tiger (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Liam Keniry.
Watson was suspended for 2 days for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed away from the whip, taking into consideration that although he had corrected his mount quickly after it initially drifted left-handed making contact with Pastime (GB), he had then allowed Fields Of Dreams (GB) to drift left-handed again, intimidating Glory of Paris (IRE) off its intended line which, as a consequence, caused Easy Tiger (GB) to be taken off its line with the rider having to take a check for several strides.
Following the race, Jack Mitchell reported that Pastime (GB), placed fifth, was never travelling.
