The Stewards interviewed Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Macaban City, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Ms. Rutledge was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) and considering her record they suspended her for 2 racedays
M.P. Sheehy, rider of Shamiyan trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount had a bad trip around
C.D. Hayes, rider of Eden Gardens trained by K.A. Heffernan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered in the straight the first time round
Ciara Flynn, rider of Power Drive (GB) trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount got upset in the stalls and banged its head.
