An enquiry was held to consider why Philip Kirby, was running The Resdev Way (GB) here at Catterick on going described as Good to Soft, having declared the gelding a non-runner at Haydock on 20 July 2019 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer’s representative stated that in their opinion the ground at Haydock was softer than the official description and although they were hoping for faster ground today, the owners were keen to run the gelding.
