An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the home straight involving Hurricane Bay (GB), placed third, ridden by Bryony Frost and Mexican Boy (IRE), placed second, ridden by Aidan Coleman.
The interference was found to be accidental as Hurricane Bay (GB) switched its lead leg leaving the bend and moved marginally right causing Mexican Boy (IRE) to clip its heels.
Robert Dunne, the rider of AILES D’AMOUR (IRE), placed fourth, was also interviewed but found not to be involved in the incident.
Following the race, Lorcan Williams reported that Dr Gamble (GB), unplaced, hung right throughout.
