Permission was given for Camanche Grey (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start when Jessie Allan (IRE), placed third, ridden by Corey Madden interfered with Gamesome, placed second, ridden by Paul Mulrennan, which in turn interfered with Astraea (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Nathan Evans.
Madden was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had shifted towards the rail when not clear causing those on his inside to be slightly short of room.
Being a 7lb claimer, Madden was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
Following the race, Connor Murtagh reported that Economic Crisis (IRE), placed eighth, was awkward leaving the stalls.
Victor Santos reported that he removed the blindfold early causing Camanche Grey (IRE), unplaced, to anticipate the start and being slowly away.
