Approaching the one furlong marker, My Brother Jack (IRE), unplaced, shifted slightly left-handed, carrying Bobo (GB), placed fifth, off its intended line but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong from the winning line, involving International Law (GB), placed second, ridden by Mark Winn, Jenny Ren (GB), ridden by Gina Mangan, placed sixth and Bobo (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Billy Garritty.
Winn was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he angled right-handed off the rail causing Mangan to be short of room, which resulted in her being shifted right-handed across the heels of Garritty, who had just been carried left-handed by My Brother Jack (IRE).
Following the race Gina Mangan reported that Jenny Ren (GB), placed sixth, suffered interference approximately one furlong from the line.
