An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the bend involving Tashgheel (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Sam James and Truth In Jest (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Faye McManoman.
McManoman was suspended for 5 days for careless riding in that, having already shown a tendency to hang right prior to the interference, she had failed to take sufficient steps to prevent the gelding continually drifting right, resulting in Tashgheel (IRE) colliding with the running rail and becoming unbalanced.
Following the race, Faye McManoman reported that Truth In Jest (GB), placed fifth, hung right.
