The Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Al Sakb (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent run at Killarney 18th July. Ms Meghan Donovan, Authorised representative of Denis Gerard Hogan, reported that their charge made mistakes the last day at Killarney but today the application of first time cheek pieces and a change in riding tactics where the animal was ridden more positively and prominently appeared to be contributing factors for the improved performance.
