He's a huge horse, he's 16.2hh so will have a future hopefully. We'll give him plenty time he is so big but he has plenty gears and will either go for a winners' or Listed race next. The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Hazamar, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Laburnum Park, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fifth, Monarch, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed second and St Gallen, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of Pat Keating, who accompanied D.O'Brien in the Stewards room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D.O'Brien was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day.
