Permission was given for Questionable (GB) to wear a red hood to post, for Red Scotch (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for Croeso Cymraeg (GB) to be led early to post wearing a red hood and be mounted on the chute.

The winner, Croeso Cymraeg (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Catterick on 2 October 2024 where the gelding finished sixth of eight, beaten by 12 1/4 lengths.
James Evans’ explanation that the gelding appreciated the return to Leicester where it had previously been a winner was noted.
