The Stewards fined Liam Casey, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Field Exhibition, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order. M.P. Walsh, rider of Naughty But Nice trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up. A.E. Lynch, rider of Bective Cave trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung to the left in the straight.
