The winner, Satanic Moon (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ayr on 27 September 2022, where the gelding finished ninth of nine, beaten by 32¼ lengths.
It noted that the representative of Charlie and Mark Johnston could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
